Eid Mubarak

Eid Mubarak or (Arabic: عيد مبارك‎) is an Arabic term that means “Blessed Feast/festival”.

It is used for salutation when celebrating Eid-al-Fitr, the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal, following Ramadan, which is the month of fasting and prayer. On this day, many Muslims participate in common prayers, listen to khutba (sermons) and give zakat-al-fitr (food charity) during the Eid-al-Fitr.
